Tons of problems, but heres the worst

After rotating my tires today I went for a drive to see if the road noise that had mysteriously appeared overnight was gone (which it didnt). Shifted into second and almost hit my head on the rear window, same thing into third gear. Looked down and my OD light was fllashing. Same thing happened to me when I first bought the truck. Anyways it seems like the torque converter wont lock up. RPMS are always 3-500 higher than what they normally are and it will rev up if you step on it without downshifting right away. So i went back to the farm and unhooked the batteries and took out my ICP and EOT mods and put it back to stock. Took it out and now the OD light doesnt flash and the second and third gear shifts arent too rough but it still isnt locking the TC. Truck is at normal temp ranges on oil and tranny fluid but it seems like it runs like it does on cold mornings for the first two miles. New trans 40k miles ago, warrantied 3 yr/75k miles and that three years is up in less than 2 months so i gotta figure this out asap. Can anyone help? My thoughts are the trans is toast since its exactly what happened last time, but itd be great if i didnt have to to get it replaced, not to mention if they void my warranty because of the mods.

how many ohms you have on ICP?

I had the 140V IDM, usually 15.6k on the ICP and 4.7 i think on the EOT. My dad drove it stock for 20k miles like a grandpa and i drove it 20k somewhat rough, but most of it was highway miles. Its got air intake and exhaust, but nothing too major.

THe lights back to flashing and TC never locks up. Is my tranny shot?

When that happened to mine (limp mode) , it was a break in the wire leading to the VSS on top of the rear axle . The problem on mine was intermittent , due to the insulation on the wire wasn't broken , but the wire inside was (soft spot ).You may want to have the code read ...

Yeah, get a good scanner that can read transmission codes. That's the first thing to do.

well i dont think an open element air filter will give you 100hp! lol so i dont think that would void a warranty, but take out the icp, no one will know that you have tghe idm mod in there unless you open your mouth, but yes sounds like your tranny might be toast, its in limp mode. take advantage of a new tranny if you can! see ifyou can throw them in some extra doe in the replacement to get some good red label parts.

Alright will a superchips tuner that can read codes pull up tranny codes?

I wish I could help you but I know nothing about automatic transmissions. I'd get her scanned and see if that points you in the right direction.
