> I have broken the original trans mount, f150 trans mount

Might be from the frame flexing?

ok, so far i have had a lot of advice bout dropping in a 302. found mounts, putting in the 8.8 rear end, removed the ac condenser on the firewall, found the oil filter relocater, need the rad fron an explorer. question is, does one need a 2 in body lift or hammer out the firewall? ive heard no body lift needed, hammer the firewall, to 2 in bodylift and no hammering. which is it?? lift and hammer, no lift no hammering???

Body lift will make it a little easier, with a little more room. Even the 2.9 is a little crowded towards the back.
