the tool box is deffinetly going back in, BUT, i want my plastic liner back in, i hate how i have faded paint from it on the bed rails, what should i do? franketstein the liner? or toss it all in? melting!? i have no idea what to do, but i want that in there before i drillnew holes for my tool box again.

Spray the bed with paint or roll it with the "home" bed liners....
what about a sheet metal shroud to cover up that area of the bed? seen some of them that cover up just the t-pipe and to the base of the stacks why not go a little higher with it. diamond plate bed rail caps? yea i would put money on it that the plastic bed liner would melt. they look good are those the aussie cut stacks? been lookin at possible those or a single flat cut with rain cap for my 97
Nice stacks. I think they look great when done correctly. I have seen a couple here lately that made me want to drag the owner out in the street lol. Two obs fords, one flat bed and one regular bed, had a single stack about 6-7' tall coming up through the gooseneck hole. One 87-92 ford with a single stack(about a 1.5" diameter pipe too) coming up the side of the cab and standing about 4' above the roof line. Then an 03ish dodge with a set of tractor trailer stacks that were a good 6' above the roof line.
those look nice. i like them. what size you say those are? they 6"??? i found some 7" turnouts that have me thinking evil things. i may get them and cut them to miters
yes there 6" aussies, 5" inbed, 4" under, stack kit from grandrock was 565$(made out like a bandit!) 45$ in reducers, woulda been another 60 for that stainless underbed pipe but my cusin donated it to me, so just over 600$, not bad at all, everything is seamless. only complaint is the stacks are offly tight on the rails with out the clamps and the band clamps they gave me from the 90° elbow to the flex pipe then to the 4" are not tight, i had to mod them to fit, other than that, it was awsome.
Not to knit-pick, but are sure that the angle is the same on each of them? Looks very good!
A kid in my area has a IDI 7.3, and he has his exhaust coming out from under the grandpa steps and up. The stacks aren't too tall and wouldn't look bad except the 'up' part is made of stove pipe. LOL.
i also noticed that they look off a bit on the angles.. here is a little trick. take a tape measure and hold the end on the end of the opening opposite of the opposite bed corner and have somebody take the other end of the tape to the opposite bed corner and hold it right on the corner of the bed. now get the stack opening lined up with the tape. do that on both sides and boom. they are now angled extremely extremely close to perfect if not perfect. LoL.
nope, might just be the pictures, the stacks are angled perfect, front to back they are straight, the only measurement i screwed up is the distance from the very front of the bed ti the stack, one side is 5 inches away and the other side is 3" away, bums me out, ill have to redrill the left mount one more time to fix that, but only i notice it, no one else does
