I was thinking the Lariat must be the leather package. Can't afford that!
It took me buying a 23 year old car with leather to afford leather
Ok, that settles that then...I want an XLT trim on mine.
I was driving through Florence SC and saw a wrecked 96 centurian truck. I talked to the salvage yard but they did not want to part it out yet.
It has really nice front bucket seats and console.
I'm thinking of either Captains chairs from a Bronco or maybe some Superduty buckets. It'll take a little modification but I think it'll be worth it to me.
XL is the basic, vinyl floor and bench seat, manual doors and windows, basic radio, maybe a/c and cruise. They also had a black grille and headlight surrounders.
XLT: power locks, windows, and sometimes mirrors. Some less optioned xlt's came with vinyl floors and bench seats but most are carpet and the 40/20/40 front. Most all of the seats have power lumber. Cruise and a/c. Radio was either a cassette or cd premium package. Some supercabs had the buckets with floor mounted console.
To my knowledge, there was NO lariat package from 92-97. With the SD's the lariat is woodgrain in the interior and most often leather seats. Also any of the Centerion, Roll-a-long, Centaurus, etc were aftermarket extas. The vehicles still might have been sold new from the dealership, but they were just stockers that were modified by these companies and then re-sold with the packages. Western hauler is another conversion company but they are more owner specific. With these packages, you'd most likely get some fancy graphics on the side, molded fiberglass running boards, wood consoles in the interior, custom seats that were either custom cloth or leather and wood throughout the doors and dash.
