I have a 88 4x4 F250 with a 5.0 5 speed. It seems to run a little warmer than I like compared to my 89 F350. The radiator is like a One Core, very thin. Can I install one from a 5.8 or 7.5 if they are bigger? Would it be a bolt in application?
I cannot see why the 5.8 one will not bolt in. As for the 7.5 one that is a differnt story. I bought an all aluminum one from summit for my lightning and it runs on the "R" now instead of the "A" on the NORMAL reading
Thanks Brad,...I recognize that avatar,...OB,..? Looks like you have been here a while.
I'll look into a bigger rad, We just put in a 30 over 5.0 with a towing RV cam, headers and K&N intake, so I don't want overheating to be a problem.. It will mostly get used for plowing.
