300 starter?
I asked this up in the 67-72 forum also. Will a starter from a 302 work in a 300. I Know it will bolt up but will it spin it.

221/260/289/302 & 240/300(L/D) use the same starter, but....

There are actually two starters used with these engines...one for a manual, one for an automatic.
