I'm just gonna vent for a second if ya'll don't mind. Why is it that it is soooo much harder to find AA injectors for smokin good deals? You can find ADs all day long. Are the AAs that much better or what? Oh well thats my venting for the day.
Its a splits vs singles thing.
Most make the change to singles for performance reasons.
Singles stopped comming from the factory in 97. Splits went
to the end of the 7.3 run.
so can I switch to the AD, the split tipped injectors? Here's my plan. Remove the superchip and get one of chips that everyone is running on here...TW or DP I think those are the ones. One of them is got them on sale till the end of the month. I am trying to get this figured out now before I go spendin a bunch of dollars and have a pile of %$#@ that is useless.
Looks to me that Split injectors are more then rebuilding your AA/AO's.
DIY Stage 2 kit from jim is 685 for aa/ao code injectors.
Or you can send your injectors into him and he will do all the machine work for you. costs a bit more, but he knows what he is doing. DIY-Injectors.com
Jim is also our forum sponsor here as well.
Stock Budget Built: $500 Stock overhaul of any A code injector.
Stage-1 Budget Built: $500 AA/AO Injectors only, 160 cc output.
500 is cheep.
That's budget build for him doing it though.
30 day warranty i think.
Your truck is a 95.
Its not worth the added expense of getting it to
run correctly with splits. Stick with singles and upgrade
inj's if wanted. I would also upgrade to the latest PCM family
and code for your baseline. (97,TDE1 auto trans).

What are you calling a smoking deal?
I see AA's on eBay for $150 a set from time to time, but they are usually someone's trash they are getting rid of.
AD's actually have 'better' parts in them and last longer, but are less desireable, and less efficient.
I have seen at least 2 different memebrs on other forums sell AA's for $300 in the last week or 2. That's a pretty good price for 'cores'.

FWIW my Budget Built have 60 day warranty.
I must have missed those. I try and get on frequently but it doesn't always happen. This is the info I'm trying to find out. My original plan was to do stage I or II s if I can swing the extra cash. I don't want to take my truck out of commission any longer than I have too. I was going to get set of someone else's takeoffs and have them redone if possible and just swap them out when they are back and I have the time to take the truck down. Any suggestions.
