F100 9" rear end width.....bronco same width???
Hey everyone I need to either rebuild or replace my toasted 9" and was curious if anyone knows the width of the 9" in a 1961 F100 or any 60's F100. Also want to know if anyone here knows if a bronco 9" is the same width as a F100 or what vehicle came with the same width rear end. Thanks in advance!

The 1961/72 F100 axle housing is the same length, but why replace the whole tamale?
All you need is the third member aka pumpkin.
Any 9" third member from a 1957/73 car, 1957/73 F100, 1969/73 E100 (Econoline), 1966/73 Bronco will work.
NOTE:
Some 1962/79 cars use an EIGHT INCH rear end...it looks very similar to a 9 inch.
1974/86 F100/150, Bronco & Econoline, 1974/79 Passenger Cars:
Some of these 9" rear ends have a tapered axle bearing/seal combination
I dunno if this type of bearing/seal combo will work with 1957/73 9" axle shafts, because I've never encountered this before.
