Exotic replicas
I thought I would share this site for anyone looking for a nice replica. I was talking with a friend last night who said he wanted a nice exotic for up to $60,000. I pointed out to him that a used exotic is a costly maintenance and repair auto. You have to take it to a specialized shop to have it worked on.
I suggested a 1957 cabriolet replica that is hand built from the ground up and not on a volkswagon or any other donor car chassis. My wife and I visited this place in Knoxville right after Katrina hit. These people are awesome. The car is built to be mechanic friendly and is Subaru powered.
I have never seen their autos for sale on ebay or any other sites. If you see any disadvantages to this, please let me know. I hope my friend will buy from them so I can see long term durability and save up to get one myself.

Wow. And with a Subaru engine. It's not an MG but then again... it's not an MG.
That's an excellent find. A friend of mine was looking for a fun little british sports car and has been focusing on MGs but I'm certainly going to recommend this.

We were really close to buying one,but we held off cause of the storm. I am very glad we did since our economy turned. We wound up buying a 2005 mustang convertible for half the price.
Our total for the replica would have been right around $50,000. I really do not think that is a bad price. It is strictly a two seater but is mid-engined. It has a trunk in the back that can hold golf clubs and a guy my size can drive it. I am 6 foot 5 inches. All parts can be purchased at your local parts store.
