Need help from the Number Guru
I bought a dad/son restored F100 pickup. Im not sure what happened but the son is who sold it and I can tell he didnt know much of anything about it. From What I can gather it was put together in Canada and should have a 6 cylinder (right now it has a 352 v8)... but after that either my code book is wrong... or this pickup is a extremely odd pickup
1966 Ford F100 - Short Box
VIN NUMBER = F10BC894305
Door Tag 115 B F100 L81 C 08
05000 150 3600 L7
Also I have a Tag under the hood not sure what it is it has these number
The matching Vin Number then underneath it say:
115 B L 4A.

L7 = ? No such code, it's prolly A7.
A7 = Ford of Canada-Pacific Division, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

The Buck Tag on the firewall was used by assembly line workers to make sure they installed the correct parts, usually cannot be decoded.
115 may refer to the wheelbase in inches, B could be the COLOR code for Caribbean Turquoise. What L & 4A refer to, I haven't a clue.
