Just ordered AutoEnginuity Total Ford Bundle!

Just ordered from RiffRaff Diesel here in Oregon, can't wait to get it! Does anyone have links to good how-to guides on the special 6.0L functions?

If you find any be sure to let me know, I know I couldn't find any. Although I will say this, my "google" skills aren't as good as the ole ball and chain's and she would prefer it that way when it comes to my truck "hobby".

I just had to "feel" around with the software. It takes a little longer doing that. Congrats on getting the software, I feel confident that you'll love what it can do.

AE fixes prices, but Clay at Riffraff gave me free shipping. Poor college student discount

Your going to really like it. I haven't worked with it on the 6.0 yet. ITP has a general how to on their site.

Received the AE today, it was like Christmas. I was a little disappointed though, it didn't find any cylinder contribution faults or glow plug issues to explain my horrible cold starts. I thought it would at least have cylinder contribution codes to point me at the troublesome injectors. Any ideas how to figure this out? Also, I planned on recalibrating my speedometer (done in the ABS module) and it won't communicate with the ABS module...

Try datalogging with the sensors. It might be something that is sporadic enough that it isn't tripping any codes, so you might have to see if there are sensors that are showing bad readings.

Can you try to describe to me how you are trying to access the ABS module?

I try selecting the ABS module in the systems setting and I get an error that it can't communicate. Also, when I pull codes from ALL modules, under ABS it says "can't communicate with module".

I'm at a loss on that one. I haven't had that issue. I was thinking that maybe you weren't switching to ABS in the system settings, there was another user that was doing that and couldn't find where to get the belt chime disabled.

I think maybe I have a wiring issue or a problem with my ABS module. My ABS works, I've tested it on wet roads after I fixed the issues that had my ABS light on. However, that corner was crunched when I bought the truck, so there's possibly a wiring issue or internal module issue that slipped by me. I guess its time to start tracing wires...

It may very well be something like that. I know the ABS module on our trucks is supported in the software, I've pulled codes(or rather no codes reported msg) from that module.

ABS module communication

Same issue, wouldn't com with it and would not com with the enhanced drivetrain module or something like that. It's been a couple months since I looked at it but that rings a bell. Other than that, it's pretty cool. Lot's of parameters to look at and to be able to record on the fly. Almost essential stuff for anyone running a 6.0..
