Hello im trying to hook up an exaust brake on my 02 7.3L using the plans from http://www.swampsdiesel.com/content/faq/EBPV_Brake.htm i am trying to find the wires that go to the ebpv but can not seem to find them i was just wondring if any one had pictures of where the wires are? From what it looks like to me is that the plans i am using must be for the older 7.3L i think but i am hoping it should work still.
Thanks.
I would not hook up like that, in that link above. Just put a push button on it and use it as needed (pulling)
It is most beneficial with pulling heavy loads and in the higher RPM range. I have used it many times pulling the camper. And i love it. Keeps me off the brake pedal cooking my rotors down those long down hills were you would ride the brakes. But around town i never use it. Useless.
thanks for the link there thats exactly what i needed i dont know why i could not find that on my own but ive got it now and as for how it was hooked up i am going to do it has you described it seems much simpler and more useful.
thanks
