Fuel system questions?

Hello every one.
On the 95 we have a huge fuel pump leak and thought that it was time to up grade. So to get away from the Mechanical fuel pump I would need???????
I know a electric fuel pump, what kind would you all use? A fuel filter to replace the stock fuel filter housing, what micron size would you go for? A fuel press regulator, Would you use this one Fuelab Adjustbale Fuel Pressure Regulator - Modern Automotive Performance

What else would I need?
Thanks
Nick

I don't believe that regulator will work, you will need one with a regulated return,
here is the basic setup
electric fuel pump,
I used a 150 mic. pre-filter, with a 30 mic. filter/water separator, and finished up with a 2 mic. fuel filter. and then use a regulated return regulator in the valley to get the fuel in the motor and you are up and going!!
Here a some links that I used when I did mine that really helped out alot

now after you have seen that I will share a few of my likes and dis-likes
I used a walbro fuel pump instead of a stock super duty, you don't need push lock fittings to make it work, and it flows more fuel than a stock sd pump will
I suggest using the 150mic pre filter, it is a extra barrier and it will allow a higher level of filtration without making the other filters work as hard, I did not use a fuel heater because it normally does not get cold enough here in TN to really neeed it, and I run a fuel additive as extra insurance. If you decide to use a 3-way to feed the back of the heads, DO NOT get the one from harbor freight, it has chinese odd ball threads and you will be hard pressed to find proper fittings, just go to Lowe's and get one, they have the three way by itself, it has standard threads, and it is cheaper than the one at harbor freight. If you don't already know, then find out where the closet hose/hydraulic shop is to you, I walked in with my regulator and everything that I needed to adapt to, then guy went to the back and in 5 minutes I had everything I needed to put in my fuel system and I spent around $15 for a bag full of fittings.
Overall, I love my fuel system, I noticed a difference instantly with how much quicker it starts and how smooth it idles. and in case you are not keen on doing a custom system yourself check out beansdiesel, he has systems already put together that you can just buy and install, I believe Neal is running a system from him, either way you go I believe you will be happy with an electric fuel system.

I know i didn't build my own system, but mine uses a SD pump, a aeromotive regulator, and deletes the fuel bowl. it uses a 2 micron pre pump filter and a 150 micron post filter. the 2 micron is a dahl filter and the 150 micron is an aeromotive cleanable filter. on the engine the fuel comes from the supply to the rear driver side head then from the front of the head it uses the factory line and just goes straight over to the front of the passenger side head then out of the rear of the pass head to the regulator then out the factory return. you can see a pic of the lines here. Line from supply to rear driver side head pictures from rides photos on webshots

the regulator is at the bottom of the pic with the 2 lines running out of it.
