we just got a 2007 attitude 26 fsakg
here are the specs. we have had several problems towing our old 23 foot superlite and our truck just did not have enough power like it did when it was new. so i was just woundering if we should expect to go up the cajon pass any faster than 50mph.

also we are towing this with 100 gallons of water
it is a cc long bed 6.0. with 20x10 rims and 35 nitto terra grapplers
The 35's actually hurt you on gearing. It might be in your best interest to change ratios if you pull often or rotate to your stock tires when pulling the trailer.
Also engage the tow/command drop it into 3rd, set the cruise at 45 to 50 and relax. Esp. if it's a hot day. Let the gearing do the work not your engine. Those 35's are really not helping when it comes to long steep grades.
If you don't plan on going larger than 35s, 4.10s or 4.30s would be your best bet. 4.56 would be too low unless you have at least 37s. 4.10s would provide the same overall ratio as stock tires with 3.73s. I have 4.30s with 35s and the low end is great, but it revs a little over 65mph. If you tow HEAVY a lot, 4.30s would be the way to go. If you don't want to spend $2k on gears and install, get smaller tires.

I own the exact same hauler and tow it with my 04 6.0 Excursion. I usually run 55-65mph up 6% percent grades fully loaded to 10k-11k. My Ex has stock tires with 3.73's and a straight exhaust. 50mph on the cajon pass is probably normal with 35's and that toy hauler. If you can keep your speed up you may get to 55 mph but maybe not? Those 35's are really hurting your towing ability. I would install some 4.30 gearing and you should run the hills at 60-70 mph all day and night! You will like your Attitude toy hauler, I love mine! Mine is an 07 26 fsak too!
also we havent changed the fuel filters in a while, so i think we will get some more speed once we get a full service done. it hasnt been serviced in a while.
Nope, didn't do the fiberglass since I live in sunny AZ! I have seen too many 5 year old fiberglass trailers that just get ruined by our terrible sun and heat!
The 6.0 is a strong engine but it will die an early death if you do not keep up the recommended maint. At a minimum it will keep you broke if neglected.
