I have a 2006 F-150 with less than 40,000 miles.
Recently part of the electrical system goes dead for a while.
The gauge cluster, radio A/C die right after the ABS light flashes.
After a few seconds it cycles back on and may/may not do it again.
usually takes about 20 minutes of run time before it happens.
Sometimes the check battery light comes on, but not always.
I have had the battery/alternator checked 2x, both guys said they are OK.
Also the bright lights no longer come on, the #35 fuse is good and the blue dash indicator comes on, just not brights.
X3 check ALL the ground points and if that still does not do it I had some what the same problem with my high beams and turn signals not working from time to time and I had a couple of broken wires in my main wiring bundle and that was a PITA to find. Good luck
Just got my wife's expedition out of the shop for a lot of the same problems. It was a short in the instrument cluster, sounds like yours hasn't completely shorted out yet, but is headed that way. Took them 3 days to find the problem but only a couple of hours to fix it. Good luck.
