intake question

So i am doing a egr delete kit from elite diesel. i have everything out pretty much but everything that i have about doing this tells me that you dont have the turbo out to do this including the instructions from elite. is there some sort of trick that i am missing to get the intake out it doesnt seem like it is possible to get it out anyone else ever have this problem? does anyone know what i am talking about? everything is all loose and it just seem to catch on the turbo

I don't see how it's possible to do an EGR delete without removing the turbo

Your intake has a loop on the rear end, and that won't let you remove it from under the turbo.
For reasons like this, I've had that loop cut out and welded shut on the ends, so mine would come out.....

the bolts in the turbo take a 10mm socket or wrench. I usually use a 12 point "ring spanner" - it'll give you a little more flexibility in that small room - and to get the bolt start, I hit it with my palm. Usually the bolts - like these - exposed to extreme heat has the ability to appear as they seized, but a good "kick" usually starts them.
Some PB Blaster overnight would do magic also.
