Crank case venting

I'm getting close to the end of putting a 460 in my pickup. My problem is the valve covers were stripped when I got the donor engine. So how do I build/construct my crank case ventilation system. PCV valve in one valve cover and a vent in the other?

Stripped valve covers????? What is that?
Just put some valve covers on it. Many to chose from.

Yes, vent in one cover and PCV valve in the other. Most factory setups have the valve in the right valve cover and the vent on the left. This is because of the direction of the cranks rotation helps to move the air thru the engine in that direction.

By stripped I meant the valve covers didn't have grommets or anything to guess/copy from. The 400 I yanked out had a pcv in the rear of the passenger cover and fill cap (breather) in the front of the drivers valve cover. I was going to copy it but thought I'd ask here to make sure all's good.
