99psd crank case vent trial
I want to run this buy you guys. I have done this to my truck today and will post the outcome in a week or so. When i had my valve covers off for injecters,turbo rebuild, wicked wheel ,intercooler cleanning , and cold air vent mod. I turned the top of the vent 180* so the vent is now going out the back of the valve cover. Built a bung to go in exhaust pipe where it steps from 3.5 to 4 inch . Made a ventura tube welded it to a nipple that would screw in the bung and the other end of the nipple to a smog check valve run 3/4 hose on top of tranny and along fram to rear of vave cover put a few zips on to hold in place .I just want to get the vent out of the are intake that is nasty. Has any one else put valcum on you engine this way ? just wandering what your thought was . And for as cleaning out the intercooler not sure if it is worth it or not. Thanks Phil
