You know, I bet you guys are really getting tired of me posting now. I was just doing some searching in fleabay and found that the high pressure oil pressure sensor IS the ICP sensor... It seems that everyday that I touch my truck, either I am breaking something, or finding out the proper name and place to find one... I found an ICP sensor in fleabay for $139. Does anyone know somewhere else. Thanks guys for all of your help.
Yes, that's correct. The ICP (HP Oil) sensor is right there by the fuel bowl on the driver's side head. The IPR is on the HPOP. That seems high for the ICP sensor though. I was thinking it was around $50 for some reason.
Yeah... That's kinda what I am thinking now also. I have checked all of our sponsor sites and they can't touch it so far. I emailed ed at his site... We'll see. I am going to check Monday at the stealership also since my brothers garage gets a discount. I still think that they will be even higher. Right now, it runs with the check enging light on but it runs slower. But, it is running...
When I took it off and looked at it. It looked as if someone before me had it out also and had repaired or something and glued it back together... They did not do it well enough for my bear paws to keep from breaking it though!!! I guess it was even more redneck than my work!!!
You know, it could have been worse. I think... It could have been a sensor that could have kept my truck from running at all. Or, it could have been one that is even more expensive.
