Help with later trans cooler

Replacing my smaller factory trans. cooler in my 2000 f350 psd with a 31 row from a 2003. Anyone having done this before able to walk me through what has to be done to swap it into place? Any tips or problems?

It will bolt to the same mounts as the original. You'll need some fittings from a hardware store to adapt the new cooler's 1/2" lines to the truck's 3/8" lines. That's it.

hey, I appreciate the help. Haven't looked yet but is this a threaded style/brake line set up or just hose over barbed male end?

Hose over swaged end. Not even really "barbed". Many many threads on this with some excellent writeups.
