Need help asap

I am a newbie truck owner. I have a 2005 Ford F150 XLT 2WD. I like the idea of leveling my truck due to the nose dive and maybe getting 35's on one day. Anyway, I am getting my truck leveled next week and also getting wheels. I really like the American Eagle 1972's 17x9 wheels. The questions I have, and can't get them answered on other Ford forumns, is they are -11 offset, 4.5inch BSM. Can anyone explain to me in lamens terms on what exactly im looking at and if I will be ok going up to a 33" tire without rub (with the level kit)?? I understand my truck tires will be about 2" out of the wheel well. Please help!

Tire Rack's web site has all of the information on custom wheels. -11 offset means that the outside of the rim is off center outward by .433" or 11 mm. A rim with 0 offset would have the mounting flange ( the surface that bolts up to the rotor or drum) would be exactly in the center of the rim from inside to outside. 4.5 inch BSM is the distance from the backside of the rim to the mountinting flange. Offset and backspacing are closely related. As to whether your tire choice with your leveling kit and wheel choice will fit with no issues I can't answer for sure. The general consensus on this site is that a 33" tire will work without any problem. The diameter is only about 2" larger than the standard tire so it should work. Again Tire Rack can assist you with that information also.

33's fit on my truck stock with no rub. Not sure on the offset and stuff but they were Mickey Thompson Classic II's 17x9. With a 2.5 leveling kit they say 35's will fit but depends on the offset there might be some rubbing and may have to do some trimming. Im clueless on offset and stuff. I guess I got lucky when I bought my rims cause at stock height I had no rubbing and some people do I have heard. Sorry Im not much help here.
