Well, hi everyone, this thread is a little sad. I'm very worried and disappointed about my truck. I bought it the past 1st July. I was very excited because it's my first car and I always wanted a Ford Lobo, here in México we know the F150 like lobo. Anyway it is a 2004 Black F150 Lariat, and I love it, but it has a lot of problems. First the last owners put a lot of equipment like sound systems , strobes and sirens. Speaking about the engine they get a K&N air intake system. Well It is pretty much about transformations, without speaking about the Mark Lt conversion body kit, like grill and decals.
Ok problems. The last owners never take care about the engine, I did the first oil change at 50,000km, about 31000 miles.
Then the problems... The moon roof get some leak in the corners, and when try to close from vent position it hit the roof. And when I get open and go into irregular road, it hits the roof too.
In the back cab it has a sound that I still can't find out how to fix it.
I change the throttle body. The turn light in the right headlight stop working, when I activate the turn signal it blink quickly.
When the engine starts and sometimes during the travel the warning bell sound 5 sets of 5 repetitions. Like you left open the door. One friend told me that the problem comes from the SRS system
Some other things it's just esthetical.
Well sorry about this sad novel I hope don't disturb or boring anyone.
Then the help I need, what things can I do myself? O what do you recommend, I know it wasn't the smartest thing I ever do, but I really love my truck.
