Hello, I have a few tranny fluid leaks im looking to get a little imput about i have pictures but i guess i cant post them so ill try to explain the best I can.
One is a pool that gathers on the bottom of the trans houseing by where the dust shield goes where the motor meets the trans. the other looks like it is comming out where the shifter linkage is. is there a o ring or something on the inside where the linkage goes into the tranny? any help will be great. thank you

That's most likely a rear main seal leaking, though sometimes a valve cover or intake gasket can leak oil down the rear of the engine and mimic a rear main leak.
Your front leak is probably the front seal if its tranny fluid. If its oil, its what montana highboy said. I don't know for sure about the linkage, someone smarter than me will have to help you there. There could be an o-ring there, just not sure.
Yeah with the motor out it took about three minutes to do. That was the first time I did it, and that includes climbing in the engine bay, and back out, its that easy!
If the tranny is a C6 it could also be the pump/housing seal. This is a large O-ring that seals the front pump to the trans case.
There is a small seal that fits the manual shift arm and an o-ring that seals the inner shaft (kickdown arm) to the outer shaft (manual shift arm).
