I don't use anything, but a dab of antiseize on the threads wouldn't hurt anything.

Try to avoid putting thread tape and sealers on glowplugs and other electrical sensors. The threads are the ground connection for the circuit, and thread tape and sealers can interfere with the connection.

I put some copper "high temp" antisieze on mine, I figure that shouldn't impede the electrical connection (I hope)

REMEMBER THE TORQUE ON GP'S is only 12 foot pounds or 1/12 of a turn..... after bottoming......if you did it above that redo them to spec or you will pay later.

What will happen if you over tighten glow plugs?

When you try to get them back out after the engine has been running a while, you will probably have a lot of fun.

I use a "light" coat of never sieze on mine when I install them.
