horse-shoe limo seating in excursion idea
so in an effort to customize a 01 excursion 2wd, my friend is talking about bigger tires and a lift....I say thats stupid because its 2 wheel drive and we dont live in the dunes, and there are no malls around here to go mall crawling
I suggested limo style seating
Using the two bench seats it has, the smaller one in the back, and getting a junkyard third middle bench seat and making a u shape like pictured
it would be great if the front captains chairs could swivel like in the 70's ford vans
has anyone ever seen something like this? i would just google it but dont know what to google...feed back wanted, we are not mechanics and dont want to get in over are heads, but we are also both able bodied and brained

it would not work due to obstructing the doors. unless you want to loose most of your rear cargo space... you could do swivel 2nd row seating if you have the bucket seats...
In addition if you are moving or relocating seats then you have safety issues to address such as getting it properly anchored so seats don't break loose in an accident. as you mentioned not being mechanics I think you would be in a bit over your head...
