Well I did take my truck back to the dealer where they did the tune up, I wanted them to document the problem. I took the Service manager out to the truck and past him the keys and said drive it and he did, and he dropped me off at work and said he will fix it no charge. This is the suprising part, they called me and said they replaced a spark plug under warranty and I had an extra coilpack so they replace it on the number 4 plug, I guess there was a small crack in the boot and there was water around it and that caused it to arc. They put the new plug in blew the water out and put the coilpack on with a new boot and now it runs like a charm. Today did not cost anything, happy to have it back and running good. But it makes me wonder if this was a problem that caused me to replace the cat and to do a tune up. Anyway I have my truck back it is working good and I always read FTE to get info to help me solve problems. I hope that someone can benefit from my experience.
Thanks
Sounds as if you have a good service department there. Hang on to them as such service can be hard to find. Maybe next time you go in for something you might take a box of donuts to them.
