Opinions on a 93 5.0

How does this look to you guys? High mileage, problems with 5.0's? Highest price you would offer?

Nice looking truck. Miles don't seem too bad. Have seen some with 200,xxx & more. I've got a '91 with about 145,xxx. Supposed to be a Jasper long block about 40,xxx ago. Don't know! Talk to some of the people that have been here a while. $3,000 seems a bit high to me. Ask around is my suggestion.

price seems high, but miles aren't bad. My 95 5.0 has 158,000 miles on it,burns no oil and still runs strong. And i can just about promise you my truck has been ran harder than the one you are looking at,especially the last 10,000 miles!!

That's good to hear. Keep the input coming, always like to hear from others. Way things are going I might be serious about this one. I'm not happy about the 1 wreck, but FL all it's life is good, if I count right it's had about 5-6 owners.

More pics.

They use lots of salt on the roads here, and yeah we sometimes get them. I guess on a second look the body of that truck does look pretty good, but the miles are still higher on it for it to be worth a whole lot more.

I think it looks like a nice truck.

As for high mileage 5.0 trucks. I have one that I have owned for 10 years that has 275k miles on the original drivetrain. Just keep the fluids clean.

You will probably have water pumps and alternators and stuff like that that will end up needing repalced. Sometimes they end up needing suspension work. That along with the other maintianance items is really about it.
