my mom just bought a 05 f150 and within the first hundred miles the speedometer quit. we took it back to the dealer and it ' magically' started working. drove it home, it quit again. turns out there was a short or somethin in the dash and they replaced the dash. is this a common problem or???????

 

never heard of this.....its not common
