Injector driver module?????

Injector driver module?????
Started my 00 Excusion this morning and it was running a bit rough. Check engine light came on, drove to auto parts store to have it scanned. The scan revealed that there was a problem with injector driver module has an issue. The parts guy said it could be the driver or most likely a problem with an injector. Is this true???? If I need to replace the injector, can I replace just one or should I replace all? I have the 6637 mod, Edge programmer, and will have 4" exhaust soon. Maybe not so soon depending on how much this costs!!! How easy is it replace the injectors and or the driver module? Any help would be great.

I had injector driver module code the other day and after trouble shooting wiring (weither it was chafed or what not) I couldn't find anything. However the dealer found a bare wire going to the number 6 injector. it was shorting out and bringing up the injector module code(due to my code scanner not being good enough to go deeper than the obdII port. i hope this helps

ran like sh$t then the ses light would come on. so I was on a trip 100 miles from home so I would reset the code I think 12 times just to limp it home. typically the injector driver module doesn't go to hell. it gets a signal from the pcm and after the signal it bumps the 0-5volt signal to 115 volts to drive the injectors.

Tell us the code. Your edge programmer should be able to pull the codes for you. I'll agree the common cause of an IDM code is a wiring issue. Many times just the loose UVCH connector.
Injectors can be done one at a time, but you need to know which one.

I forgot that the edge programmer can do that, duh. It's only show one code on the scanner at the parts store. What the heck is UVCH connector and where is it? I sure hope that a loose connection is the problem. THANKS TO ALL!!!!!

Under Valve Cover Harness
Remove the Valve Covers. It is the connection where the wiring passes thru the gasket and connects to the injectors and glow plugs.

I guess I asked for that. I just got the valve cover off and the connection was not loose. @#$$%%$##@!. I guess it was a 50/50 chance, if that is even the issue. Now off the the other side??? I should do the 50 cent mod while apart? How in the heck do you get that back valve cover bolt back in? Is one side more likely to come loose?
