trans prob

trans quit pulling. I was driving down a dirt road and slowed down for a ditch and when I pushed the gas back down it just reved up and wouldn't pull. So what I have is my truck will go only in second. Not even reverse. In reverse and drive when i rev it up it will rock slightly but not move. After I get the truck rolling I can put it in drive and third gear will work but as soon as I stop I have to put it in second again. Think my speed sensor might be goin out because sometimes my speedometer will bounce and over drive light will flash. Don't know if that will matter, wanted to let yall know in case it did. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thinking it might be an electrical problem??

The speed sensor might be going out, but that won't cause your problem. There is something mechanical that broke that caused your problem.

I don't know how this transmission works just wierd cause it didn't jerk and pop. Nothin just quit pullin. Wasn't sure if something electrical could cause the prob.
