well here's the story
so well at the carlisle car show today i found a new tailgate with the step in it that was white and has two small dents. the guy had a few of them and sold me one at a very great deal to hard to pass up
here's the issue i was hopeing just to change over all the parts and not have to do any paint work ....wrong!!!!!
the top edge of the tail gate is different, its the only think that is different from my non step gate
so i'm doing the favor of telling ever one so they don't waste their time try to switch the gates and parts
so now i have too see about geting this one paint or try to sell it off

I bought a neat little ring that fits around the tab with cut out for removal, making it a bit of a job unless you happen to have a star wrench in your hand. So hopefully the bad guys will move to an easier truck tailgate. Chris
