Weird DTC-s .....

Hy guys!

I'm having a blast with my new to me Autoenginuity software. It is absolutely great!
First time I checked DTC-s with it, it did show me a lot of them - back to battery disconnect, when I was working on the tranny, etc. I cleared the codes, drove the tuck for like a week, and just checked the codes again.
My overhead trip monitor doesn't work for like 2 months now, and it throws a
B1342 - ECU is faulted code. What could that mean? I know it's a body code, so I'm a little lost there.
It also throws a
P1876 - transfer case 2 wheel drive solenoid circuit failure - code ..... ???

B1342 ECU fault code is a universal code for failed body modules. You could try clearing it and see if it comes back. Regardless, you will probably need a new otc module. The other codes is referring to the shift motor for your 4x4 on the transfer case. If you never use it, no big deal. Check it and see if it works, if it does, I would just clear it and not worry about it.

Thank you for the response guys!
My tranny is holding up great, I absolutely love it. A few days ago I wrote a little upgrade about it on the original thread : https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...lipping-3.html
I bought the software with the Enhanced Ford Expansion directly from AE ,( Order Online ) , I paid a little less than $400. I think it's well worth it, if you think about that the dealer and other shops are charging $100 each time for DTC check.
"jboczar" - thanks for the info.
I cleared all the codes, and this 2 is coming back. Clear it again- comes back again.
I also checked if the 4X4 works, and it did engage and disengage - just like it supposed to. I live in SW Florida, and my truck never seen mud, or anything, so honestly I never used the 4X4 ( well, once on the landfill after a big rain - about 2 years ago ) , but that's it.
I also could live without the OTC module.
My only issue is, that I know, that I have DTC-s. It's a bad feeling - since I'm kind of **** on this level about my truck. The truck is my DD baby, and I love to know that she's mechanically "perfect".

Did you get the PC based with Proline or the one at the top.

The Ford Expansion requires ST05 USB, so I didn't have to get the Proline hardware.
I'm not planning to switch to GM <--- either, so I got the one on top.
But if you roll down, you'll find the package deal for $379. Well, when I bought it, I didn't see that, so I ordered them separate, and I've got a refund right away. I was very happy with the service.
