i just reprogrammed my truck recently and she threw out 2 DTC codes...
P1000 & P1635 (tire/axle out of acceptable range)
now - i think its just crazy - it shouldnt be a big deal to have 4.56s and 35's on a truck this size...its not a toyota (which isnt even that good of a comment now because some toyotas have a bigger motor than ford )...but after i CLEARED the DTCs - they were stil there....hmmmm.
so - i guess what im asking is - does all this sound cool? is this normal? do i need to worry or are those codes both harmless?
Your codes are wrong though,
P0100 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction
and I couldn't find the p1635, but this is the area
P1605 PCM Keep Alive Memory Test Error
P1625 Voltage to Vehicle Load Control Module Fan circuit not detected
P1626 Voltage to Vehicle Load Control Module circuit not detected
P1650 Power Steering Pressure Switch out of Self-Test Range
I did find the code at some other sight, but sence the tuner had those sizes/ratios available your PCM should accept them. Try programming again and double checking those setting.
I am getting my codes from here http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/
No reader involved.
I know it was a lot to read, but I did find a site with that code. No explenation of it though and the tuner should have fixed it.
This is on the 03 right? The P1000 is an SAE standard, MAF issue. It could be an incomplete cycle causing the code though. The 1635 shouldn't have appeared. Try running the programmer again, and then go for a ride.
P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete
That code is not important, it'll clear itself after the OBD II required drive cycles.
P1635 Ford Specific-Tire/Axle out of acceptable range
That one sounds like the person that wrote the file for the tuner made an oops in the value for tire or axle ratio.
