I have a 99 F150. A few days ago the airbag light in the instrument cluster came on and the airbag off light on the dash above the cupholder went off. I just wanted to know if anybody knows what the problem is? I thought maybe the airbag off switch is bad. Is it dangerous? I don't want the airbag to pop out while I'm driving.

 

I think you Airbag light is on because the bulb in the disable switch sounds like it has burnt out.

It's been a while since I have had my dash apart so I don't recall what's involved in replacing the bulb.
