00' Ranger Airbag Light code 19
Hey there,
I just purchased a 2000 ranger that has had a light front end collison with a snow bank. The drivers airbag did pop, and the previous owner just glued the flaps back together. I bought a new air bag but i am nervous to install it without knowing what the airbag error code 19 is. I suspected the clockspring but the horn works (c.c. got taken off with the airbag blow...).
Does anyone know what error code 19 means? I dont want a suprise when i plug the new airbag in...

I plugged in the new airbag, and the airbag light stayed on...
I stopped into the ford dealer yesterday to see what they wanted to clear the code...$125
I decided i can live with a light flashing at me.
Does the this code diable the airbag system? in other words, will the airbags still work with the airbag light on?
