Air Bags Replacement
I've just purchased a 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition with a rebuilt title. It was hit in the left front. The air bags deployed. It has since been rebuilt. It just passed the DMV/DOT Florida Inspection today to get the rebuilt sticker in the door jamb. The air bag light is on. I expected that it would fail the inspection, but it didn't? Upon my inspection, the air bag replacements were installed, but not connected. I was told that they were replaced but not connected because the "sensors are bad from the accident". My question is: without spending hundreds of dollars at the dealership, what all do I need to do/replace to get the airbags operational again? Thanks
