I recently bought a74 f250 with a perfect body , but its an f250 so im wondering does any one know if this body will fit a later model chassis say 95 or so? . im finding some off the chassis parts kinda hard to get pluss the ride is a lil rough.

 

anything will work if you are willing to fabricate mounts etc., it sure isn't a simple swap and go but I fully understand the desire

 

id expect alot of small mods like engine and tranz mounts wiring harness changes so on but i measured out the holes in the bed they appere to be identical was just wondering about cab and rad support mounts . but maybe ill go do some more mesuring.

 

Engine position in relation to the firewall is different, and the rad support setup is also a bit different I am told...

 

well to tell the truth my biggest problem with this f250 frame is the front brake set up and 8 bolt hubs is it posible to swap out i-beams raidious arms and brake hard ware from a 78 f150 ? or will i have braket problems? the rear axle is no big deal.

 

Hey keep me posted on that swap. I just picked up a 74 F250 Crew an I am looking to do the same thing find a late 90's Crew 4wd long bed frame an swap everything over.
