I think I just got jammed up......a little...maybe...
For a disc/disc conversion with a complete replacement underfloor unit using
a corvette style, 1" bore Master cylinder and a 7" dual Diaphragm Booster, bracket
and pedal assembly that mounts in the "original" location as to retain the OEM pedal location/look...
WHAT exactly is gonna screw me up...I mean besides me...?
I may have "overlooked" this small...yet...oh-so-important issue...
That's a good question! Maybe a 6 pack of Cold Frosties?
I'm not sure, but I'm starting to think about doing it to my 51 if for noother reason to change the front bolt pattern to match the back (ooops, got the right size wheels?)
Here's a link to a thread from awhile back where the guys tossed around some ideas. Maybe if you read through it the lost item may be mentioned - not sure. If nothing else it will bump this back up - good luck!
Nope, you got it; .........only thing that comes to mind is because the Master Cylinder is lower then the calipers, one front and one rear 2 lb. Residual check valves as I believe the aftermarket Corvette master comes naked. (and maybe the trick remote fill reservoir).
What OldF1 said..and Julie said,..plus maybe an "adjustable "proportioning valve so you can get that confidant feeling when sliding into turns and stabbing the brake pedal,..and maybe a box of Band-aids...a quality brake-line tube bender with a tight (1") radius,1/2 doz 3/16 stainless brake-line clamps,4 -six foot pieces of 3/16 brake-line and what ever flex hoses and crush washers....you might be up to a 12 pack by this point..Have Fun!
