After market brake mc/brake pedal

The po of my 48 F6 took the brake/clutch assembly out and got rid of it. Im thinking of getting an after market brake pedal,mc,booster. My question is I only can find disc/drum or disc/disc mc with the kits and I have drum/drum can i use the disk/drum kit and just plumb a adjustable proportion valv in?

Most of the kits use the same master cylinder (corvette). The disk disk and disk drum kits use a porportioning valve. Talk to the manufacturer but I'm pretty sure if you only install drum residual check valves (one front and one rear) you'll be braking your ole truck in style in no time.
