I read somewhere about changing the oil after your done. Is this necessary? If so il wait to do it because i just changed my oil. thanks. Also what do people think about it? noticeable results? Or just something good for the motor?
If you put it in the crankcase, you'll want to change the oil pretty soon. Most folks don't even bother adding it to the oil, just running it through the intake and gas tank is usually enough.
Some motors will improve dramatically after a good Seafoam treatment. Others, like mine, didn't have much of anything to burn off, and it didn't have much effect.
I do have to pick up a can for my snowblower, so maybe I'll hit the truck again before winter.
yeah i ran 50/50 intake/fuel .... in my 91 with the 302 it made a HUGE difference, truck has over 180k miles on it and she smoked like a biotch...but lie i said highly noticeable improvement in acceleration and picked up some MPGs too
gonna run it through the 300 here pretty soon, it only get 12MPG as is plus its been sitting for 5 months and now its getting 35x13.50 hawgs, so i need all the fuel mileage i can get LOL
