Wondering what the amp rating is on the upfitter switches on a 2006 f-350. Dreampt up 2 options:
1. Looking to take the "Hot at all times" wire and going straight through the upfitter switch to my equipment.
2. Looking at taking the "hot at all times" wire and tying that into the upfitter switch as its power supply. One power supply used to power the switch relay and my equipment.
IIRC, first 2 upfitters are 30amp, 3 & 4 are 10amp. Pretty sure it tells you in the manual. As for making them hot all the time, I remember reading a while back that there's a relay that turns them on with the key in. A jumper across a couple terminals on that relay makes them always hot.
I'll try to search for it when I get a chance, but someone else will probably come up with the info first.
