There are a couple of variables. One, is you may want to check your ball joints, it sounds a little silly, but start there. Then check your drag link, and tie rod. Those two can be checked by having someone wiggle the wheel back and forth, while you look for slop. Once you have decided all that is good, you can adjust the set screw on top of the steering box, that goes into the worm gear. You only want to turn it in about a 1/4 turn each time (pita) and then test drive, first couple attempts may not give you what your looking for, but it will. You absolutely do not want it tight against the gear, and no tighter then it has to be. So 1/4 turn intervals are good. If at any point you start to get "hard spots" in the motion of the wheels from left to right, you are in too tight, and need to back off just a little bit. If none of this takes care of it, then you should look into another box.
