Wasn't doing much today so I dug out the the box with my exhaust tips BCT sent me... oh not quite a year ago (yeah, I'm an overachiever). I wish I would have done this a lot sooner! Even at an idle it has a little bit better sound to it, haven't done a road test yet. I'm thinking next I might see if I can grab an extra piece of pipe and cut the muffler out (wish I hadn't installed it in the first place).
Now... I need some opinions from you fine folks. Up close from the side the tips don't look like they stick out too much, and looking at the back from a distance they look fine, but looking at the back up close they look like they stick way out. Pics:
Zoomed out view of the back
Same shot but zoomed in

So... sticking out too far or not? I want them to stick out just a little bit so I don't have to scrub any more black soot off the rear quarters and bumper, but I don't want the truck to look like a waterhead installed the tips either.
I'm thinking about firing up here in a bit and going for a test run...
Thanks all for the comments!
Moto52- they were a REAL sum biotch to install, but I love the look of duals so I couldn't resist. It does have a slightly different sound to it than a single too.
