Excursion/F250 Frame lengths

Excursion/F250 Frame lengths
Does the Excursion have an F250 frame equivialnt? Ex.....will an Excurstion body, bolt right up to any F250 (Reg cab, 8ft box, extended cab 6ft box, crew cab 6ft box, etc)? I know the crew with 8ft box is too long......
Just thinking because i know the whole gas to diesel swap has been discussed and it would require a lot of work. Is there any reason why an Excursion from a V10 chassis couldn't just be put on a diesel roller?
i ask because i have a 2000 F250 7.3 4x4 crew cab 6ft box that was involved in a wreck that I would consider swaping at my buddies body shop if it will work.......
