Hi , I joined a while back and have been reading and learning. I am working on a 56 f100 8ft which I plan to keep 8ft as you dont see many. I will post pics. When I can figure out how to get them from dig. camera to iPad fire. Does anyone know if there is a difference in a6.5 box frame and an 8ft other than length, cross member etc?? Thanks in advance for your time and the wealth of knowledge I have found here.

 

How are your running boards? No one is making them so they are hard to find. Let me know if you need a set.

I wish I could get my ex-BIL to post his 53 F200 build. He made his own 8' bed out of stainless. What do you want to do with the truck ? Restore? Driver? etc. He uses his as a daily driver. I see you are into woodworking. So it will be easy enough to make your own bed boards. Maybe even the running boards.
