So the check engine light has been on in the truck for a month so I take it over to Auto Zone and they do a scan which says my that there is an "open" issue with the preheat, glowplug curcuit. I havent had a chance to look at it but you guys have been a major help in the past so I thought I'd ask the experts for their opinions before I open the hood. Thanks in advance!
After actually looking at the printout it states that the #2 Glow plug is faulty. I have never needed to preheat the truck but it looks like Im going to be spending some time & money on them anyway.
Well, if you have to replace the glow plugs, you may as well replace them all. I saw some on ebay that I liked and have been meaning to get, it's just that after 9 years and 245,000 miles, my glow plugs won't quit!
