oil temp light

when i start my 2000 expy the oil temp light goes on and the pressure gauge flickers from low to high and then stays at low. Once the truck warms up it will go to normal pressure and light will go off. Anyone seen this problem before. I am thinking bad sensor somewhere but have no idea where to start.

Thanks
Mike

oil temp light

I am having the same problem with my 2000. I don't see it occur as often when it is warm outside. Did you find out what the cause is?

oil temp light

i have a 2000 navigator and i had the same problem with the fluctuating oil pressure gauge and light. I end up having to replace the sender and that fixed the problem. Herd that it was a common problem in the 2k Navigators
