F250 bed compatibility
I am looking to replace my entire truck bed from the frame up. Have a 1992 F250 8' box with dual tanks. What years are compatible?
I found a 1997 F250 powerstroke bed for sale locally at a good price. Will it bolt-up?

Don't think so, the body style stops at 96. I believe anything between 92-96 will be an exact match though, and it can be from a F150-350.
You can even go further back in years but the wheel arches won't match.

The heavy duty trucks (over something like 8800 lbs GVWR) carried over through '97, so that bed from the powerstroke F250 is the same and should be able to be swapped onto the '92 without any issues.

Yes sure will.I have seem something like a 94 ford with an early 80s box on it before.I have a 97 f-350 the same as 92-96 and they look the same.Yes the body style did change in 97 but only the 150s the 250 and 350 still had the old style which I prefer over the new ones anyday.
