I'm wondering what kind of drive train is in it - if any. I'm about 10 minutes from there, maybe I'll drive up today and take a look!

It looks like it was used as a huskster's truck. It would have been nice if he stated a price.

I just called the guy and he said somewhere around $500. He sounds like he doesn't know much about early Ford trucks so I am sure he would be open to offers. I tried to get a better description of his term "rough" but I didn't have much luck...I really think that he doesn't know much about mechanics at all; in fact, his wife is the one who posted the ad and pictures.

I've always wanted the Chevy Panel truck's "Canopy Express" version, but a Ford.

I thought about grafting the back section of a regular cab inside the Panel truck to separate it from the back and cutting the sides out and adding the sloped top edge of the truck bed to the open edges similar on the pictured truck. However, I could never bring myself up to cutting up my Panel.

Got any more pictures of that truck? Looks like that picture was photoshopped...

Not if I get there first! I emailed the person as well this morning, but had no response.

Please report back as to its condition. Also, please take pictures, especially of the rear section and the inside of the body. $500 isn't bad for any old truck, especially a Panel. I wonder what condition the rear doors and the front fenders are in?

I'm sure that if you go there with a trailer and cash in hand, he'll let it go for $300.

Good luck and keep us informed.

It's the lighting difference and focus is what tipped me off.

I actually stole the canvas off of the green truck to use on the Ford.
