Front End Coil Spring Sag??
I'm looking for a little input. I bought an '06 F-350 Harley SD a couple of months ago & I'm looking to add a leveling kit. I bought this from a dealer so I know I didn't get the true history of the truck, but I know that the previous owner had a snow plow mounted on it (obvious marks on the frame & the front spoiler was removed). The rear of the truck is 3 1/2" higher than the front (11" vs 7 1/2") & my question is what is the stock difference between the front & rear. I ask this because I'd like to know if my front coils have any sag from the plow so I can decide if I need to replace the front coils or if I can just go with a leveling kit (I'm thinking 2-1/2").

Or just replace the coils... Considering they're all of $35 each at the dealer, and you have to remove the coils anyway to put in a leveling kit... Why band-aid the problem when you can fix it...
